Paradrome: TCG Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Paradrome: TCG Online · Effective date: October 25, 2026

Who we are

Paradrome: TCG Online ("the Game") is made by Merchback, the game studio name of independent developer Zane Palmer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Game collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Contact us at merchback@gmail.com.

The short version

  • We do not show ads and we do not sell your data or use it to track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not ask for your real name, email, phone number, location, contacts or photos.
  • To run online play and save your profile, the Game uses Unity Gaming Services, which assigns you a random player ID and stores your display name, win/loss record and owned card packs.
  • Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Information we collect

Player ID (a random identifier created when you first play) To identify your profile and saved data, and to connect you to online matches.
Display name you choose Shown to you and to opponents in online matches.
Game stats (wins and losses) To show your record in your profile.
Owned card packs (product IDs of packs you bought) To keep your purchased content available, including on other devices when you sign in.
Login username and password (only if you choose to secure your profile) So you can sign in to the same profile later. Passwords are handled by Unity's authentication service; we never see or store them.
Online match data (moves and game state; your device's IP address as seen by the relay server) To connect you to opponents and run the match in real time. Not stored by us after the match.
Purchase records (from Apple) To unlock the content you paid for and to restore purchases. Apple provides a receipt/transaction; we do not receive your name, Apple ID or card details.
On-device data (settings, story progress, local copy of owned packs) Stored only on your device so the Game remembers your progress.

The Game does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools. Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics (such as download counts and crash reports if you opted in to share them with developers) under Apple's own policy.

How we use information

  • To provide the Game: saving your profile, online matches, and unlocking purchases.
  • To keep the Game working and fix problems.
  • We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or tracking, and we do not sell or share it for those purposes.

Third-party services

We rely on these providers, who process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

  • Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services: Authentication, Cloud Save, Multiplayer sessions and Relay) – Unity Privacy Policy
  • Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, TestFlight) – Apple Privacy Policy

Data retention and deletion

Your profile data (player ID, display name, stats, owned packs and login username) is kept for as long as your profile exists so you can keep playing. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the Game.

To delete your account and data in the Game:open Profile > Delete Account and confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your account, player ID, display name, wins/losses, login username and cloud-synced card pack ownership from Unity Gaming Services, and clears account data stored on your device. Story progress saved only on your device is kept until you delete the Game.

Backup option: if you can't access the Game, email merchback@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Paradrome account" and include your display name or login username (and player ID if you have it). We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleting your account does not cancel or refund App Store purchases. You can get purchased card packs back on a new profile with Restore Purchases using your Apple ID.

Children's privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the Game does not ask for names, emails or other contact details, we generally cannot identify any player's age. If you believe a child has provided personal information (for example in a display name or username), contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections to Unity Gaming Services, and passwords are managed by Unity's authentication service rather than by us. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect to what the Game needs.

Your choices

  • You can play the story and free battle modes; online features require a player ID.
  • You can change your display name at any time in your profile.
  • Creating a login username and password is optional.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Profile > Delete Account, or request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy (for example when new features are added), we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the Game's patch notes.

Usernames and other players

If you create an account, your username is shown to other players in online matches. Don't use your real name or personal information in your username. Usernames that contain offensive words are blocked.

Reporting and blocking

At the end of an online match you can report or block another player. A report opens your device's email app with a message to Merchback@gmail.com that includes the reported username and the match time. We use reports only to review abusive names or behavior. Blocked players' names are saved on your device and hidden in future matches.

Favorite cards

Up to 7 favorite cards you pick are saved to your game profile in Unity Cloud Save.
